Our Unique Tour Experience
Australian Wild Tours are truly unique, offering exclusive wildlife tours in the Northern Territory. Hand crafted by wildlife and survival expert Andrew Ucles, our tours are designed to encourage individuals to connect with their wild side and become more confident, knowledgeable and capable in a survival situation.
Australian Wild Tours welcomes all individuals to become part of nature. These tours cater for a diverse age range from 18+ to 65, but families with kids ages 10 and over are also welcome. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced adventurer, our tours—ranging from single-day to multi-day experiences—are tailored to fit your skill level.
Location
The Northern Territory is located in the Top End of Australia, a vast wilderness area which encapsulates Australia’s rugged and spectacular landscapes. It remains Australia’s last wild frontier.
Australian Wild Tours hosts its adventures on Finniss River Station, located roughly 1.5 hours from Darwin.
Our bush camp is situated in a secret, secluded spot on the western frontier of Finniss River Station and offers an authentic outback experience surrounded by coastal rainforest and native wildlife.
Mission and Purpose
At Australian Wild Tours, we prioritize safety, conservation, and eco-friendly practices.
On our tours and fishing charters, we actively support a number of initiatives, including the Department of Primary Industries Shark Tagging Program which tags and tracks sharks to gather data on their biology, movement, and growth.
We are strong advocates for the NT Government Crocwise Campaign. There is estimated to be around 100,000 saltwater crocodiles in the wild in the NT – being safe around the water and identifying areas which may inhabit crocodiles is an important part of the Australian Wild Tours experience.
We also educate our guests on the impact of Cane Toads and Feral Pigs, and share our methods for removing them.
Our mission is to immerse visitors in the environment, fostering a deeper connection and responsibility towards protecting the land.
