FISHING CHARTERS
Spend a day on the water with Australian Wild Tours and fish for some of the Northern Territory’s most iconic species including Barramundi, Saratoga, Jewfish, Threadfin Salmon and Tarpon.
Led by expert guide Andrew Ucles, you’ll head out to the mouth of the Finniss River from the Dundee Beach boat ramp, roughly a 35 minute trip. You’ll have the chance to spot an array of native wildlife, including basking crocodiles, dolphins and sea eagles, before wetting a line at some of our favourite spots on the river.
Whether you prefer baitcasting or spinning reels, we’ve got the tackle you need and the knowledge and experience only a local angler can offer.
This isn’t just a fishing trip – it’s a true Northern Territory experience.
Catch Guarantee
We offer a catch and cook guarantee, as we source local Mud Crabs from the Finniss River using pots strategically placed to ensure a catch every time and an authentically Australian meal.
Research
Australian Wild Tours is partnered with the Department of Primary Industries (DPI) shark tagging program which uses tagging data from captured species to determine biological and ecological factors affecting population and distribution dynamics.
Australian Wild Tours encourages sustainable fishing practices and promotes key conservation initiatives in accordance with the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).
